Summer Reading at Fowey Library – Extraordinary Explorers!

This is your sign to get VERY excited about the summer!

Fowey Library is taking part in The Cornwall Reading Challenge 2026: Extraordinary Explorers, a free summer reading adventure for children of all ages at libraries across Cornwall.

Children will be invited to explore all the things they love through books:
🖌️ Explore Art
⚽ Explore Sport
🎮 Explore Gaming
🌍 Explore ANYTHING they’re curious about… and earn fantastic rewards along the way!

There are two FREE challenges so every child can join in:

✨ The Reading Quest – for children who can enjoy reading 6 books over the summer.
✨ The One and All Challenge – a fully inclusive option, designed so every child can take part and succeed, whatever their reading ability or needs.

The adventure runs from Saturday 11th July to Saturday 12th September 2026.

At Fowey Library, children will receive a booklet with fun activities and reading challenges to complete, plus the chance to win lovely prizes.

So, gather your explorers, grab your library card (or sign up for one – it’s free), and head down to Fowey Library… this summer is going to be EXTRA‑ordinary!
